Bishop Daniel J. Vassell Sr. is a third generation ordained Church of God minister. He has been actively involved in youth and Christian education ministry for over thirty years. He has served in Youth and Christian Education Ministry in the island of Jamaica, West Indies, Toronto, Canada and the United States. Daniel served as Regional Youth and Christian Education Director for Eastern Canada. He served as Senior Pastor of Bridgeport Church of God, in Connecticut and District Bishop of four churches. In 1994 he served as Youth and Christian Education Director for the state of New York and from that office he was transferred to Cleveland, TN to become the Cross Cultural Youth Ministry Coordinator. At the last General Assembly of the Church of God, in August 2004 Daniel was appointed as the international coordinator of Single Adult Ministries. His is committed to help develop vibrant of Single Adult Ministries on the local, district, regional, national level and at the international levels.

Rev. Vassell received a three years diploma at Mico Teachers’ College in Jamaica, West Indies, a BA degree in Religious Education and Youth Ministry at Tyndale Bible College in Ontario, Canada and he has a M. A. Christian Counseling with Church of God Theological Seminary, Cleveland, TN.

Rev. Vassell, has been one of the leading advocates of Singles Ministry and during his tenure as State Youth Director and pastor he has ran some of the most vibrant State Singles Ministry Retreats, Seminars and Training Conferences. Bishop Vassell has a heart to see Singles maximize their God given potentials as they enjoy the season of Singleness.

Daniel Vassell Sr. an outstanding speaker communicating the promises, hope, and unconditional love of the Lord with a positive and personable approach. He has a heart and compassion for single and single-again adults, as well as he has a clear understanding the issues of the singles' community. His desire is to see singles become a whole person spiritually, emotionally, and relationally.

Daniel is a writer for a Christian Newspaper in South Africa. He column deals with family issues. He has written two books, entitled, Love Factor in Marriage I & II. He has written many articles on the issues of single adult living and ministry to/with them

He is married to Jenny; a renowned gospel singer and they have two children, teenage son, James and daughter, Aleah. He is the newest member of the International Youth Department team and together they department are leading an international ministry for all peoples.

He is available to speak at any Singles Ministry function.
